The Energy Saving Trust estimates that new double glazed windows and doors could save the average UK household up to £160 a year in heating bills. As a result, Premier Windows have launched a free home energy efficiency check.

Gary commented “We supply hundreds of energy-efficient uPVC windows and doors throughout Buckinghamshire from Aylesbury to High Wycombe and Hemel Hempstead each and every year. We not only make our customer’s homes warmer but more secure.” See our windows or doors pages for more details.

According to the Energy Saving Trust, the heat lost through windows accounts for around 25 per cent of the total energy lost from your home. Premier Windows is offering free home energy efficiency checks to help you work out exactly what you could save by fitting energy efficient double-glazed and triple-glazed PVC windows and doors.

Gary Warby, MD at Premier Windows: “The UK has some of the least energy-efficient housing stock anywhere in Europe. Our homes are not only often cold and draughty but means the homeowner is paying to heat the street! Old single-glazed and even older double-glazed windows account for around 25 per cent of heat lost from homes. Energy-saving PVC double glazed windows and doors can cut this heat loss by up to 75 per cent. Triple glazed windows can deliver even greater savings and make your home even warmer.”

Premier Windows offer an extensive range of low maintenance and energy efficient PVC-U windows.

These are available in a wide choice of colours and finishes, they can also be designed to define or complement the character of your property.

Gary added: “Low maintenance energy efficient double-glazed uPVC windows and composite doors can transform the look of your home or business, whilst also cutting the cost of heating. Winter may just be behind us and home energy efficiency may not be the first thing on your mind but the spring and summer months are actually the ideal time to make energy-efficient home improvements so that you’re ready for next autumn and winter.”
